At the end of our first ever recording session, on the 10th of February 2012, some of us got pretty drunk. Just before we laid down our instruments and called it a quit, singer and songwriter Olav Larsen spontaneously started singing a tune, a tune he didn't even know he'd written. The words just poured out of him as if he was speaking in tongues. The four beautiful ladies who make up the choir joined soon after. And just like that a new song was born out of thin air! Luckily for the band the tape was still rolling and Erik Bekkeheien at Bekkstudio was able to record the song. Coincidence or not? To be honest we are not sure. What is sure, and even certain, is that we really felt a strong presence and atmosphere in the room that night. A presence and atmosphere created by a bunch of fantastic people just looking to have fun and create good old truthful music. Let The Hank W. Rodgersons Gospel Experience become a part of your everyday experience!
